CHATKA |
| Hi! My name is Chatka, a Siberian Husky at birth, an adored child at adoption. My mom and dad called me Chattie. My birth mother had me and my siblings in a snowbank in January many winters ago. I was the sole survivor--apparently. I was very tough and very lucky. |

My new dad adopted me first. He was living in a fraternity house at the University. Then we moved off campus into an apartment. My mother began visiting periodically, and we became best friends. She wasn't used to doggies, so I taught her how precious and loving we are. She married my dad and me, and we became a very special family. |
| My birthday was always a special time. Each and every year, I was
given a small bowl of ice cream--usually vanilla--my favorite. It was always a most
tasty treat. One birthday there was no ice cream to be found in the freezer, so mother walked me to the car and we journeyed to Dairy Queen! Mother bought me my very own cone--topped with swirly ice cream. That was a really special day! |

| Licks and Woofs to
you, Chattie |
